They say she left her home just after 10:30 Sunday morning to walk her dog in the museum district and never returned. Later in the day her mother filed a missing persons report. <br />The next day Monica's mother says the dog showed up back at home on Monday- but Monica was nowhere in sight.<br />Police believe Monica may have met up with someone on the internet. Police say that person is 57-year-old Jeffrey Nichols from Belleville, Illinois. Police say he is driving a green, four-door, 1999 Oldsmobile Alero.
